Mike and Emily had an idea. They wanted their Save the Date anouncement to say "Eat, Drink and Be Married”. And they came to me to get them some photos they could use.
I wasn't really sure what EmiIy had in mind but I was happy to try. We were to shoot at Watson's Mill in Manotick, Ontario. Watson's Mill is a historic flour and gristmill. It is one of the very few operating industrial grist mills in North America. The afternoon we got together was in late September. It was a perfect day for photos. They trees were just starting to change colours and the sun was low enough in the sky that the light coming through the trees was beautiful.
Watson's Mill is a great spot for photos. We took lots of eating and drinking photos but we were also able to shoot inside the Mill and all around the grounds.
